Dan Petersen is a personal and professional development coach, living and working out of Sage Canyon Ranch in Cortez, Colorado.

He is co-founder of Sage Canyon Project, a non-profit organization developed to promote the evolution of human consciousness. Dan is also the founder of the Edges Learning Community for personal and organizational coaches.

Prior to becoming a coach, Dan was an orthodontist and holistic practitioner for more than twenty years in San Diego, California. In 1990, he left his practice to teach holistic principles to healthcare professionals, private clients and organizations.

Dan received his DDS from USC and holds a master's degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He completed graduate work in holistic healing as a Holistic Health Practitioner with an emphasis on body/mind psychology. Dan was certified as a coach by the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, where he was also a faculty member of their Coaching Intensive Training and seminar programs.
